Building workout plans
The plan builder: sessions, exercise groups, RIR/RPE prescriptions, weekly volume, and copy-on-assign.
Plans are built under Workout Plans: a plan holds sessions, sessions hold exercises, exercises hold set prescriptions.
Structure and limits
- Up to 14 sessions per plan, so anything from a 3-day split to a two-week rotation fits
- Up to 30 exercises per session and 20 sets per exercise
- Set the plan's training days per week (1-7) - it drives the client's weekly completion target
Prescribing sets
Each exercise takes reps, weight, tempo, rest (which feeds the client's rest timer), notes, and an effort target as either RIR or RPE - pick your convention in settings and the whole app follows it.
Group exercises within a session as a superset, warm-up, or finisher. Supersets need at least two exercises; warm-ups and finishers can be singles.
The weekly volume panel
As you build, a live panel tallies weekly sets per muscle group across the plan - chest, back, quads, hamstrings, and twelve more. If your posterior chain is getting 4 sets while pressing gets 24, you'll see it before the client does.
Your exercise library
Plans draw from your own library (up to 500 exercises) with muscle group, equipment, coaching description, and a video demo link per exercise. Build the library once; every future plan gets faster. Plans, sessions, and exercises can all be duplicated.
Assigning: every client gets a copy
Assigning a plan creates an independent copy owned by that client. Change their squat progression, swap an exercise for an injury, add a session - your template and every other client's plan are untouched. Attach a plan to an invite and it's waiting when the client joins.
