Check-ins
Scheduling check-ins
Due days and times per client, early-submission windows, on-demand check-ins, and how reminders behave.
Schedules live on the assignment, not the template - so ten clients can share one weekly template with ten different due days.
Setting the schedule
When you assign a template (or edit the assignment later from the client's Coaching Setup):
- Weekly - pick a day of the week and a time ("Sundays at 18:00")
- Monthly - pick a day of the month, 1-28, and a time
- Quarterly - pick a day of the month, a time, and an anchor date; the anchor decides which months count (anchor in January means January, April, July, October)
- Daily - always due; no schedule needed
Early submissions
By default a check-in opens on its due day. If your clients like to check in Saturday night for a Sunday deadline, set an early-submission window of 1-7 days - the form opens that many days ahead.
On-demand check-ins
Leave the schedule empty and the template becomes on-demand: no due date, no reminders, and the client can submit whenever they're ready. Useful for ad-hoc check-ins or clients on flexible arrangements.
How reminders behave
- Clients get a reminder email on the due day, timed to your timezone.
- If they've already submitted that frequency's check-in today, the reminder is skipped - nobody gets nagged about work they've done.
- Daily check-ins never send reminder emails. A daily email is spam; the daily check-in lives on the client's home screen instead.
Overdue tracking
A check-in more than 2 days past due marks the client overdue - they're flagged in your roster, counted on the dashboard KPI strip, and surfaced in the attention card so no one quietly disappears.
