Habit coaching
Creating habits, tracking types, phases, automaticity ratings, heatmaps, and never-miss-twice alerts.
Tyzra's habit system borrows from habit-formation research rather than streak-driven gamification: phases, automaticity, and never-miss-twice.
Creating and assigning habits
Build reusable habits under Habits: a name, a tracking type, a target, and a cue - the when-and-where that makes a habit stick ("after brushing teeth", "with morning coffee"). Four tracking types:
- Yes/no - did it happen
- Numeric - steps, litres, minutes, with a unit and target
- Scale - subjective 1-10 ratings
- Time - what time did it happen (bedtime consistency, first meal)
Assign habits per client, and organise them into Foundation, Growth, and Mastery phases - start small, stack later.
What clients do
Habits appear as a lightweight checklist on the client's home screen - tick, type a number, or pick a time, done in seconds. Once a week, clients rate each habit's automaticity: how automatic does this feel, 1-5. That rating is the real graduation signal - a habit that scores 5 without misses is ready to be replaced with the next one.
What you see
- Heatmaps per client and across your whole roster on the dashboard - consistency at a glance
- Never-miss-twice alerts: when a client misses the same habit two days running, it's flagged on your dashboard, on their profile, and inside check-in review. One miss is life; the second miss is where habits die, so that's the moment Tyzra taps you on the shoulder.
- Habit compliance in context while reviewing the client's check-in
Pausing and archiving
Assignments can be paused (holiday, deload week) or marked graduated. Archiving a habit definition preserves every historical log - no data loss for the sake of tidiness.
