Installing the client app
How to add the Tyzra app to your home screen on iPhone and Android, with your coach's logo as the icon.
On this page
The Tyzra app installs from the browser. There's nothing to download from an app store: you add it to your home screen, and it opens full screen like any other app, with your coach's logo as the icon.
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open the app in Safari (the link from your invite email, or tyzra.com after you log in)
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow)
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add
The icon appears on the home screen. Opening it from there shows the app full screen, without the browser around it.
Android (Chrome)
- Open the app in Chrome
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top corner
- Tap Add to home screen (on some devices: Install app)
- Confirm
Why isn't it in the App Store?
Because it doesn't need to be. There's no app store account to create, you're always on the latest version, and the icon is your coach's logo.
Built for patchy connections
Check-in drafts save on your phone as you type. Workouts save on the phone first and sync when the connection comes back, even after a refresh, so a dead spot in the gym doesn't lose a session.
Troubleshooting
- No "Add to Home Screen" option on iPhone? Make sure the app is open in Safari itself, not inside another app's browser (Instagram, Gmail, etc.). Tap the browser icon or copy the link into Safari.
- Icon didn't change after your coach updated their logo? Remove the icon and add it again. iPhones keep the old icon until you do.
