Training
How clients log workouts
The client training experience: session logging, rest timer, exercise notes, history charts, and crash-proof saves.
Clients train from the Training tab of the portal on their phone. Here's what they see, so you can support them.
The training hub
The hub shows the plan name, the week they're on, this week's completed sessions against the target you set, and a suggested next session. Completing the full cycle gets a proper success state - small thing, big deal on week 12.
Logging a session
Opening a session lists every exercise with your prescription - sets, reps, tempo, effort target - alongside what they lifted last time, so progression decisions don't need memory. They log set by set: reps, weight, and RIR or RPE.
A floating rest timer starts from your prescribed rest for the exercise and stays visible while they scroll - dismissible and extendable when the gym has other plans.
Notes both directions
Your per-exercise coaching notes appear inline. Clients can keep a persistent note on any exercise ("left knee clicks below parallel - box squat instead") that reappears every future session and is visible to you in their logs.
Clients can also add up to 5 of their own exercises to a session - you'll see those logged alongside the prescribed work, flagged as client-added.
Nothing gets lost
Session logs save on the device first, then sync in the background. If the connection drops, the app crashes, or the page refreshes mid-set, the log survives and syncing retries automatically. A finished workout is never lost to a dead spot in the gym basement.
History
Every exercise has a history view with estimated 1RM and volume trends, and the Progress tab shows lifetime sessions, current weekly streak, and weekly volume. You see the same data - plus weekly adherence flags - on the client's profile.
